When the old POP3 server was retired on June 30th, 2007 all unread email still on that server was merged with the new POP3/IMAP server. This is the same server that has been used to store Webmail since fall of 2005
 
 

Internet Message Access Protocol

IMAP stands for Internet Message Access Protocol. It is a method of accessing electronic mail or bulletin board messages that are kept on a mail server. All messages viewed through an IMAP connection remain on the mail server, though some client programs can be configured to move the mail from the server to your local machine.

The specifics of each email client vary, but the overall steps are the same: Ensure your email account is working correctly loging on to Webmail if you have not done so already. Email uses kerberos 5 authentication, which will not work if you have not changed your RCS password recently.
