Set Up a Standard Workday
To set up a standard workday in Outlook Web Access (OWA), do the following:
- log in with your ULID and password.
- Click Options on the left side of the window.
- Scroll down to the Calendar Options section.
- Change the start time and end time to reflect your standard workday.
- Click Save and Close at the top of the window.
The background colors on your calendar change to reflect your standard workday.
OWA stores its settings independently of Outlook and Entourage. In other words, when you view your calendar in OWA on another computer, it will display the workday as you've set it up. However, when you view your calendar in Outlook or Entourage, it will display the default workday (8am to 5pm). If you want your standard workday to appear in Outlook or Entourage, you will have to set it up like you did in OWA.
Your calendar in Outlook Web Access (OWA) is set up to use the default workday, which runs from 8:00am to 5:00pm. You can change the workday so it reflects your actual work hours, such as 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Your workday is displayed on your calendar in light tan and non-working hours appear in dark tan.
